Martin and Carrie

I had a nice surprise this weekend. The grooms family was from Canada. They had driven all the way down from Timmins, Ontario. In case you're curious, that is the home town of Shania Twain as well. It was so nice to hear the Canadian accents around me and they were drinking Molson. LOL Not that I've ever had it but the maple leaf was a treat. The night ended with an impromptue clog by a couple of friends of the bride. It was great!!! The bride was from Georgia. How they met I'll never guess but boy were they in love. There was nasty thunderstorm during the reception but it resulted in a beautiful double rainbow. The wedding party believed this to be good luck and had to have the bride and groom in a photo with the rainbow. Difficult to do when they don't want to get wet!!
