Doug and I joined the Young Women of our church for a camping trip in Cades Cove last night. Early this morning I was up and hiking on the loop. The Cove road had been closed to vehicle traffic so it was very quiet and serene. Except for the chirping of the cicadas, which I had never heard before. The first thing I saw as I entered the loop road was a pasture full of horses. I decided that since this is a National Park and public property it would be ok to walk through the field and photograph the horses. I love the results and hope you do too.
